Aprica, at 1,181 meters above sea level, is located in Lombardy at the eastern end of the Orobie Valtellinesi Alps and connects the Adda valley to the Oglio valley. It is located in an ideal position to easily reach the other Valtellina locations and is very close to the Swiss border (about 20 km), the Poschiavo valley, the Bernina Pass and the Engadine.
Aprica, with its over 50 km of alpine ski slopes divided between four ski areas, well connected to each other, Campetti, Baradello, Palabione and Magnolta, has always represented one of the most important ski resorts in Valtellina.
There are some cross-country ski tracks just a few km from the centre, with the Pian di Gembro and Trivigno loops and, a short distance from the hotel, a training loop is prepared.
There are also safe and fun routes for ski mountaineering, snowshoeing and ski hiking.
In winter, an outdoor ice skating field is set up.
During the summer period it is possible to go trekking on many hiking itineraries marked by the CAI of Aprica and a brand new climbing gym with various routes of varying difficulty.
Many paths have been arranged to be accessible by bicycles
Then there are tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool with wellness centre, a golf school and a football field.
